Returns/Cancellations

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 10 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, less 25% restocking fee, based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee in addition to the 25% restocking fee (totaling 40%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.

Please note that we do not permit the return of the following products:
   1. Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
   2. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
   3. Firearms, once transferred to buyer.
   4. Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics and night vision equipment.

NOTE: We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.

CANCELLATIONS/FIREARMS/LOCAL SALES

Due to the complex Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC purchase processes, firearms purchased from our website cannot be refunded in full. If your application is denied by MSP or FBI or if you cancel your purchase for any other reason Realco Guns will retain 30% of the purchase price. No refunds available after one year. Please be certain before you place any order from our website.

Used Firearms

The seller provides all descriptions for used items. All descriptions for used items are honest and based on actual items being offered for sale. Items being sold in this manner will be marked as such. All sales on used items are final. Photos will be provided when available. All machine guns are considered used unless otherwise noted.

General Firearm Sales

All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF rules, but state and local laws may differ and you will need to check your local laws before purchasing a firearm.

All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.

Consumer Data Privacy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

The Credit Card Billing Information, Shipping Information, and Contact Information in our checkout process are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. We store some information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unrequested information. The entire Checkout process is handled through a secure SSL-encrypted connection.

The Credit Card Billing Information is sent directly to our payment provider who processes your credit card transaction. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by us, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. Each transaction has a very high level of security. Your credit card details are sent directly to the payment provider over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction, nor are they stored on our server.

All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) featuring 128-bit encryption. A Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate creates an encrypted link between a website and a visitor's Web browser. Order Fulfillment

All orders are shipped promptly from our warehouse or in-store inventory within 3 - 10 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.

Online Price & Description Errors

Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money.

If an item's description contains an error such as incorrect photo, price, accessory or description and a customer makes the order, we will not process the order without first contacting the customer. If the order is mistakenly shipped, we may advise the customer to return the item in an unopened condition and we will refund the customer. By placing an order, the customer agrees that $dealerName will be the final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog.

Ammunition Purchases

You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations. *All ammunition sales will comply with local and state laws and will not be shipped to any restricted areas.*

Age Restrictions

You must be 21 years old to purchase handguns, handgun ammunition.
You must be 18 years old to purchase long guns and long gun ammunition.
You must provide valid, state issued, photo identification, such as a driver's license, to purchase ANY firearms, ammunition or edged weapons.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

An applicant must be 18 years old for long guns or 21 years old for handguns, regulated rifles and machine guns, must have no serious criminal record, no pending court cases, no protective orders, no outstanding fines or judgments, have an honorable service record if ex-military, no history of serious mental conditions and be a resident or a citizen of the US.


MARYLAND GUN PURCHASERS MUST COMPLY WITH MD REGULATIONS.

1. Your selected HANDGUN model must be listed on the Maryland Gun Roster.
Your RIFLE or SHOTGUN selection must NOT be listed as banned.

2. Maryland guns are limited to a magazine capacity of 10 round or less.

3. MD Handgun buyers will need to apply for a Handgun Qualification License (HQL)

Exemptions to the HQL are made for Active or Retired Police and Active or Retired Military, Md CCW holders and buyers of curio & relic firearms.

4. The HQL application requires fingerprinting and training. HQL training is offered at Realco Guns twice a week:

FRIDAYS $75 at 11:00 am and SATURDAYS $75 at 10:00am NO APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED.

Exemptions to the training portion are made for ex-military personnel and current MD handgun owners.

5. Maryland handgun customers will also complete a MD 77R-E form. We will file the application to purchase with the Maryland State Police who will then approve or disapprove based on your background.

WASHINGTON DC GUN PURCHASES MUST COMPLY WITH DC REGULATIONS.

1. DC uses the MD List and your selected handgun model must be on the MD Gun Roster at:

2. DC guns are limited to a magazine capacity of 10 rounds or less.

Please note that DC bans all semi-auto “assault” type rifles.

3. Handgun purchases will be shipped a transfer FFL in Washington DC. The DC registration fee is approx. $175.

4. Shotguns and rifles are processed and picked up at Realco Guns. The DC registration fee is approx. $50.

VIRGINIA GUN PURCHASERS MUST COMPLY WITH VA REGULATIONS.

Long guns are processed and picked up directly from our location in MD. Handguns and other regulated firearms must be shipped to an FFL in Virginia who will process your application for a small fee.

OTHER OUT OF STATE PURCHASERS MUST COMPLY WITH THEIR LOCAL GUN REGULATIONS

DETAILED INFO FOR MARYLAND PURCHASERS - FAQ

Are there any fees?
Yes,
Maryland State Police charges $50 for the HQL & $10.00 to check your application.
Also, if your model of handgun does not include it a $30.00 internal gun lock is mandated by law.
  
Can I apply in advance?
No, the gun information and the serial number are part of the application so you must purchase a gun when applying.
 
Will I be licensed to carry my new gun?
No, your application to purchase is NOT a license to carry. 
 
What do I need to bring?
You will need a valid state issued photo ID.
"Valid" means that the ID is active, no unpaid fines, no suspensions and all information on the ID is correct. If your address has changed you will need a change of address card from the MVA.
 
Don't I need to get some training first?
Only if you are buying a handgun and only if you are not exempt.
If you currently own a regulated gun in Maryland you are exempt.
If you are active or retired Military or Police you are exempt.
If you are buying a “Curio & Relic” you are exempt.
 
I am not a citizen of the US but I am a resident. Do I need anything additional?
Yes, please bring your immigration card..

How can I get a permit to carry (CCW) in Maryland?
Permits were highly controlled by Maryland State Police and are issued based on an assessment of your “good and substantial reason” for needing one.

What if my application is turned down?
If your application is disapproved by Maryland State Police or FBI or if you cancel for any other reason there is a 30% fee of the total . Later on, if you successfully appeal an MSP disapproval, half of that fee will be returned to you when you reapply for the same gun. The $50 HQL fee and the $10 Maryland State fee are not refundable. Please do not apply if you expect to be denied. It is illegal to knowingly lie on the application.

Do you sell used guns?
Yes we do sell used guns and we back them with a one year warranty.

What other items am I likely to want with my purchase?
We offer a kit that combines all the important accessories for $100. You will get a transport case, a cleaning kit, eye protection and ear protection and membership to the NRA. The one year NRA membership provides $1000 of theft insurance, a monthly magazine and access to the state-of-the art NRA range and to NRA certified instructors. You can purchase these items separately too. Another good addition is a small high security safe.
